THE DRIVER (1978) “In 1978 Ryan O’Neal was like…their Ryan Gosling? It’s cool if Gos wants to be in a movie about a heist driver with no name like O’Neal, but I hope he doesn’t emulate his parenting style. Bruce Dern acts like a little kid pretending to be a police detective in this. Like…just call everybody an asshole, and that’s being a cop. He also has my memere’s hair.”-Tommy Gazelle
