KUNG FU PANDA 2 (2011) “This is a thinly veiled remake of Sidney Lumet’s 1964 film ‘The Pawnbroker’, which I saw in theaters. In this version, Fat Jacks suffers from debilitating survivors guilt and attempts to gorge himself to death on China food. He must master zen-meditation-river-dancing to catch cannon balls with his bare hands and save Chinatowns. Mass genocide, a child witnessing his own mother’s death, and brutal rhino murder, this movie has everything I would want to have in a kiddie film. Also, why did the sexy lady tiger voiced by Miss Angelina Jolie have no bazooms?
